Just like last year, in 2024 the Haute-Savoie department will again play host to all formats of the international series on consecutive weekends!

The popular ski resort of Les Gets, located in the Haute-Savoie department in the northern French Alps, is set to host a thrilling weekend of WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series racing from 4-7 July.

Both Endurance and Gravity formats will be represented with Cross-country Short Track (XCC), Cross-country Olympic (XCO) and Downhill (DHI) UCI World Cup ! An event not to be missed!

Close to the Swiss border, Les Gets is part of the Portes du Soleil ski domain, one of the largest ski areas in the world. It is a year-round resort for outdoor activities: a traditional winter destination and also a mountain biking paradise during the warmer months.

LES GETS, LAND OF CYCLING

Les Gets has been hosting international competitions for over 30 years and is a leading venue for both competitive and recreational mountain biking (MTB).

The resort, which was chosen as the departure town for one of the stages of the 2023 Tour de France, is also a very popular destination for cyclists. Les Gets is bike!

LES GETS, LAND OF EVENTS

WorldChampionships, WorldCups, FrenchCups,TFJV (France Trophy for Young Mountain Bikers),and Crankworx are just some of the big events where mountain bike champions have taken on the trails of Les Gets and won their best medals.

Let’s take a look back at the historic 100% French podium in the Downhill and countless French medals in the 2022 World Championships, moments we will never forget.

These exceptional athletes inspire avid mountain bikers and are a great example for the younger generation who are becoming increasingly interested in this mountain sport.
