Welcome To Maydena

In March 2023, the inaugural UCI Enduro World Cup and Enduro of Maydena will take place in Tasmania (Lutruwita), Australia. Just over an hour’s drive from the state capital, Maydena brings new challenges for elite and amateur riders alike.

Maydena has a rich forestry heritage from the 1900s, and is located on the edge of the South West Wilderness World Heritage Area, immersed in cool temperate rainforest, home to some of the world’s largest trees and is now one of Australia’s premier mountain biking destinations.

For race fans there is nothing more tantalising than the opening race of the season taking place on a level playing field. Maydena is brand-new to the calendar and will prove to be the perfect backdrop for the first encounters of the 2023 season to be played out upon.

Enduro Of Maydena Logo

Over the same race weekend as the first UCI Enduro World Cup, you too can race in the Enduro of Maydena.

What makes Maydena exciting for amateur racers is the sheer amount of gradient that the park offers. The stages will see the continued progression of both speed and technicality in enduro racing, on trails purpose built for enduro bikes.

Maydena Bike Park was founded by Simon French, opening in January 2018, and has grown significantly in its four years since opening. The park was designed and built by renowned trail company Dirt Art and boasts two uplift services, up to 820m vertical elevation and an incredible 90 world-class trails that offer something for everyone, from families through to elite riders. The bike park is globally recognised for its steep and technical single track trails and is the largest enduro-focused trail network in the Southern Hemisphere.
