Cole Lucas signs with Zerode Bikes

Cole Lucas has announced that he will ride for Zerode Bikes at the 2024 UCI Enduro World Cups. The New Zealander posted a photo of his new Zerode Katipo race bike on social media to break news of the deal.

Zerode Bikes have already confirmed that they would be fielding a UCI Downhill World Cup team fronted by Sam Blenkinsop and the UK’s Taylor Vernon. The addition of Lucas to the line-up completes their assault on the Gravity side of the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series.

Lucas, 25, finished the overall in 24th overall in 2021 and will be setting his sights on finishing higher aboard the Zerode. The Korokoro-based brands machines are notable for both their integrated gearbox and belt drive, either one of which would have singled them out as unique in the Enduro pits.

Cole Lucas will compete for Zerode Bikes at the opening round of the 2024 UCI Enduro World Cup in Finale Outdoor Region, Italy 10-12 May.
