Richie Rude storms to a third title

Richie Rude had one of the standout seasons of 2023. Already the most successful elite male racer on an enduro bike, this year’s campaign saw the 28-year-old cement himself as one of gravity’s biggest and brightest names.

The Yeti Fox Factory Race Team rider managed this with two impressive accomplishments. The first was to secure a record-equalling third enduro title and the formats first as a UCI World Cup. Before him, only Sam Hill (Chain Reaction Cycles Nukeproof) had managed such a feat. Richie’s hat trick was made even more impressive by the fact that his last crown came seven seasons prior.

His second showstopper was when, fresh from the above, he calmly climbed aboard a still warm from the factory Yeti Cycles downhill bike and piloted it into the top twenty of a UCI Downhill World Cup in Mont-Sainte-Anne, Canada at the final round of the season.

You can see Richie Rude back between the tapes in Finale Outdoor Region 10 – 12 May 2024 when the UCI Enduro World Cup season gets back underway.
